The new logo and house style conveys the following core concepts:
dynamic, innovative, efficiency, hi-tech, friendly, reliable, key
position, personal. The logo also conveys Despec's position in the
supply chain: the link between the manufacturer and reseller. Despec
distinguishes itself through a high degree of knowledge of the market,
a wide assortment and Global coverage. It has been developed according
to a number of criteria: the blue Despec colour must be maintained,
a new strap line.
Despec is the link between manufacturer and reseller. This position
is conveyed by the three dots of which Despec, the blue dot, holds
the middle position. The dots also convey efficiency, dynamics and
friendliness. The angle at which the dots are placed emphasises
Despec's innovative character.
The whole text expresses a dynamic, vital and international organisation
in which service and expertise play a central role. In a (wholesale)
market in which it is difficult to distinguish a company on product
level things such as service, customer relations, quality, etc.
are the important aspects. In short, its all about how you do business.
Despec uses a dedicated business approach. With this pay-off we
go from Dealer Specialist to Dedicated Specialist. Eventually only
"dedicated" may be enough. This is even stronger.
The logo consists of two colours: blue and purple. These colours
are associated with Despec and its market. Blue relates to the old
logo and the purple colour gives more contrast, makes it friendlier
and conveys the innovative element.
